ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION broadcast concert live via USTREAM

Last September, rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION kicked off their 75-concert tour across Japan. It was announced today on the band’s official website that their penultimate performanceat the Tokyo International Forum will be broadcasted live on USTREAM!
The stream will kick off on March 25th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm JST, and will not be re-run, so be sure to catch the show in real-time!
We’ll keep you updated when the USTREAM channel for the concert has been decided.

X-JAPAN VIOLET UK and Marilyn Manson rock

J-rock legends X-JAPAN performed at the music and fashion show, “ASIA GIRLS EXPLOSION“, on March 6th in Yoyogi, Tokyo. As we reported earlier, X-JAPAN’s YOSHIKI organized the event with the producer of “Tokyo Girls Collection”.
American rockstar Marilyn Manson and model Tominaga Ai were featured on the runway, and it’s reported that actress Shenae Grimes (from the TV show, ‘90210‘) attended the event as well. During the fashion show, YOSHIKI provided the music with his piano as the models walked, combining live music and fashion on the same stage.

Girugamesh’s world tour kicks off in Russia with great success

Rock band Girugämesh enjoyed a great start to their 2011 world tour, “Here we go“, by kicking off their first show in Moscow to a horde of screaming fans.
Local fans were ecstatic at the opportunity to see Girugämesh once more, since the band last visited Moscow in May of 2009.
On March 5th, Girugämesh came out to a packed house, and thanked their fans in Russian (“Spassibo“). They then proceeded to perform tracks from their latest album, “GO“, in addition to their beloved old hits.
The March 6th episode of NHK’s “J-MELO” will feature clips from Girugämesh’s live performance in Moscow; the program plans to show the stages for “destiny” and “Mienai Kyori“.

ONE OK ROCK new tour to feature guest artists Perfume + more

4 member rock band ONE OK ROCK will be embarking on a national tour called “Answer is aLive” starting on the 25th of April, and have announced their plans to have multiple guest acts on several dates.
The band, who released their newest single “Answer is Near” on February 16th, have planned 10 dates for their new tour. Guest acts will include OKAMOTO’s, coldrain, Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas, and mega techno-unit Perfume, in addition to some other groups. Kashiyuka, Nocchi and A~chan will be joining ONE OK ROCK on the final date of the tour, set for June 4th, in Okinawa’s Namura Hall.
